Artclic Studios respects your privacy and ensures that the personal information you provide to us remains confidential. In this privacy statement you can read what data we collect if you use our services and/or products, the purposes for which we collect this data and how we use it. We also explain your rights, who has access to your data and how long we keep it. Purposes of processing and retention period

Artclic Studios collects and processes data about you for the purposes described below. In this respect, we use both the data that you communicate to us and the data that we collect ourselves (for example concerning your visit to our website). We keep personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes in question or for the period prescribed by law (obligation to keep accounting documents, etc.).



Fulfilling your order

To fulfil your order, we need your name, e-mail address, address, delivery address, payment details and sometimes also your telephone number and/or date of birth. This enables us to deliver your order and keep you informed of delivery progress. We are legally obliged to keep your order details for seven years.



Newsletters

You can subscribe to our newsletter. This will keep you informed of our special offers and actions as well as our latest news. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time via contact@hemle-store.com or hyperlink to the contact form.



Personalised content

To ensure that your browsing on our website is pleasant and useful, we store data on your purchases and your browsing behaviour on our website (consultation, clicks, searches). Thanks to cookies and your IP address, we are able to present you with advertisements that correspond to your personal interests. When we use other parties, they are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data. Would you prefer not to receive personalised ads? If so, you can refuse cookies (see "Cookies" below). Cookies are stored for a limited time, depending on the cookie.

Account

If you wish, you can create a personal account for which you will need to enter a user name and password. This way, you don't have to enter your details every time you place a new order. In your account, we store your name, e-mail address, address, delivery address, payment details, telephone number, date of birth (if given), order history, wish lists and e-mail preferences. We store this personal data on a secure server. You may request the deletion of your account information at any time. In any case, we will delete your data if you have not logged in for seven years.



Competitions

If you take part in a promotion or competition, we ask for your name, address and e-mail address. This enables us to launch the promotion and communicate the name(s) of the winner(s), as well as measure the response to our promotional activities. The terms and conditions of the competition specify how long your data will be kept.



Feedback

We believe that the comments of our visitors are very valuable. We only post comments with your consent. If you wish to leave such a review on our website, you can decide whether or not to make your name or other personal data visible to other visitors to the website. You may also use a pseudonym. Finally, you also have the option of indicating whether we may contact you regarding your review. We have the right to moderate ratings if they do not comply with our terms of use. Your review will be kept until you ask us to remove it.



Improving our services and website

To improve our services and our website, we may use your e-mail address to ask you if you would like to take part in a satisfaction survey or market research study. When we use other parties, they are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data. The length of time we keep your personal data varies depending on the survey. As soon as the survey is over, we delete all data that can be used to identify you personally.

If you use social networks (Facebook, etc.), you can connect to certain pages of our website with your account and share these pages (for example via a "like" or "share" button). We do not have access to your social network account. We also keep personal data on the contact person of our customers and professional partners. We treat this data as confidentially as any other customer data.



Legal grounds for processing

Artclic Studios processes personal data on the following legal grounds:

consent (e.g. sending newsletters and invitations; collecting sensitive data)
necessary for the performance of a contract (fulfilling your order...)
necessary to comply with a legal obligation
necessary to defend our legitimate business interests


Where personal data is processed on the basis of the legal ground of consent, you always have the right to withdraw the consent given.



Transfer to third parties

Artclic Studios does not sell your personal data to third parties. We share your data internally with our employees (salaried or freelance). In addition, we only share your data with third parties in order to:

processing your order
hosting the website
setting up the IT infrastructure;
creating (and distributing) newsletters and invitations.


Our employees and the third parties we use are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data. We guarantee that they have taken the necessary protective measures to do so.

Transfer of personal data outside the EEA

Some of our suppliers are located outside the European Union. We will only share your data with third parties outside the EU if they have signed a processor agreement and provide an adequate level of protection, including:

transfers take place to third countries outside the EEA or to international organisations offering an adequate level of protection; or
transfers are made to processors who are subject to binding corporate rules recognised in Belgium as offering an adequate level of protection; or
prior to the start of the transfer, a standard data protection agreement complying with the model established by the European Commission has been signed between Artclic Studios and the supplier.
